Diocese of Makueni.
The Diocese was curved out of the Machakos Diocese in January 2013 with The Rt. Rev. Josephat Kanuku (formerly Bishop of Machakos Diocese) becoming its first Bishop. On the 4th of September, 2016. The Rt. Rev. Francis Mboya Matui, was consecrated as the second Bishop of the Diocese, replacing Bishop Kanuku who had retired.
